ZIDO has built 6 fully-furnished classrooms at Tamani School.

The Tamani Foundation is an early childhood, primary and adult education school in the village of Matemwe.

The Foundation provides free high quality education to the local population and currently operates a thriving nursery and primary school, in addition to a strong adult education program. These combined initiatives provide young learners with strong academic foundations from an early age, therefore improving their ability to succeed in life and become valuable contributing members of the community.

ZIDO helps Tamani school to improve the success of students by sponsoring qualified volunteer teachers from the U.K. who provide early childhood education programs and access to an English immersion nursery and primary education.
