Cerebral Palsy

ZIDO helped to establish a clinic that supports 64 disabled children mostly suffering from Cerebral Palsy in Makunduchi. Some of them are autistic and others suffer from Down’s Syndrome.

Construction of Hospital Wards

We have completed 10 wards such as – neo-natal, pediatric, emergency, gynecology…  and currently working on another 2

Malnutrition Programs

Providing formula milk for malnourished babies whose mothers are sick or have passed away

Eye & Dental Clinics

Periodically partner with Optometrists and Dentists to provide clinics for the villages of Zanzibar

Essential Medical Equipment
Makunduchi & Kivunge Hospitals, often rely on the support from ZIDO when essential medical equipment is needed where funding is not available

Essential Medication

Makunduchi & Kivunge Hospitals, often rely on the support from ZIDO when essential medication is needed where funding is not available

Vitamin K Project

Funding for vitamin K injections to new-born babies, soon after birth
