Anna is a general practitioner and general surgeon from Germany with a big interest in tropical medicine as well as in global health issues.
Volunteering as a doctor at Makunduchi hospital she greatly contributes to the improvement of the health care system in Zanzibar specifically in tropical and general medicine. Getting to know more about the people on the island and their culture as well as to share medical knowledge is a pleasure for her.
