Dr. Janina Hammer
Dr. Florian Hammer’s wife Janina is also a doctor. They moved to Zanzibar with their two children and started working in Makunduchi Hospital in August 2019.
Qualifying in 2008 at Charité University of Medicine in Berlin, Janina started her training in Internal medicine. She works in a department of infectious diseases with a focus on HIV therapy. She specialises in infectious diseases and is an antibiotic stewardship expert.
She plans to improve the treatment of infections and to provide ECG training in emergencies.
